EWS in Central government jobs:-

The Government of India in January 2019 implemented the EWS reservation for Central Government post, services and education institution .This facility has not been extended to state jobs, education Institutions and a decision will be taken later on this, Mr Mohsin said.

The central government has recently introduced 10% reservation quota for the economically weaker section EWS among general category candidates in government jobs and education institutions .If you are a deserving candidate from the economic weaker section then we truly wish you should not miss the e w s quota with respect to the seats in government jobs.

Eligibility for EWS category in centre:-

•10% reservation quota is only for the General category candidates.

•People who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SC, ST and OBC and whose family has a gross annual income below 8 lakh rupees is to be identified as EWS for benefit of reservation .

•income shall also include from all sources (salary, agriculture, business, profession )for the financial year prior to the year of application.

•To be eligible under e w s your family should not own or possess agricultural land of size 5 acre or more.

•Also your family should not possess or own a residential flat of area 1000 square feet or more.

•To be classified under e w s your family should not own or possess a residential plot of area 100 square yards or more in notified municipalities.

•To be Classified under e w s, family should not own or possess a residential plot of area 200 square yard or more in areas other than notified municipalities.

●How to apply E W S certificate application form:-

Applicants will have to attach some documents with the form for the application of e w s or income certificate. The following documents should be available when you apply :-

*Aadhar Card

* ration card copy

*voter ID card

* residential certificate

* passport size photograph

*all education certificate issued by two different gazetted officers

*There is a court stamp fee of 2/- Rupees with application form duly filled.

* non judicial paper declaration of rupees 10 as per Government orders 1551 and income tax return payment.

E W S certificate application procedure:-

To apply for E W S certificate you have to follow easy steps given below-

1) you need to go to AP Meeseva portql official website .After this ,the home page of the website will open .

2)on the home page you have to click on the revenue department section.

3)A Revenue Department service page will open in front of you and you have to click on the ‘income certificate ‘option.

An application form will open in front of you. Here you have to fill all the required details.

4)In application form you have to enter the following information

name of applicant

husband/parent name

Aadhar number

date of birth

gender

Applicant age

5)Along with this you have to enter your income information .

6)Upload documents in the designated place and clik on show payment button

Enter your card information and follow the steps for payment.

7) After this click on confirm payment to confirm your payment .keep the receipt received with you safe.

■Check the application status online:-

First of all you need to go to AP Meeseva portal official website .

on homepage, login into the website by entering a username and password.

find the check Meeseva certificate option on the website and click on it .

Enter application number in the given space and click on Go button .

The status of application will be shown on your computer and mobile screen.

■Validity of E W S certificate:-

Ews is valid for one year. After that you have to renew it.
