Interested candidates can apply through the official site of Indian Navy at
joinindiannavy.gov.in
Application process will commence on April 26 and will last till may 5, 2021.
To apply ,candidates can enter the registered email id and fill the form on the official website by clicking on the tab current possibilities .
Indian Navy has opened application for 500 post of Artificer Apprentice and 2000 post Senior Secondary recruits.
■Application fee:-
The application may be uploaded from the common service centres (CSC) across the country against fixed fees of rupees 60 + GST. This facility is entirely optional.
The fees for general is 215 Rs.
No fee for SC/ST /PWBD/ex servicemen.
Mode of payment-
Through online mode by using net banking or by using visa/ master/ rupay Credit /Debit Card /UPI.
Upper age relaxed by-
For OBC up to 3 years
For SC ST up to 5 years
For PWD after 10 years.
■Aspirants can follow these simple steps to apply:-
1) Visit official website of Indian Navy.
2) on the home page go to the recruitment section .
3) register your self.
4) apply for whichever position you want to opt for and submit .
5)save a copy and take a print out of the submitted page.
●Eligibility:-
The age of the candidate should be between 75 to 20 years .
Candidates should be at least 12th pass with 60% marks in maths and physics.
He or she should have at least one of the subject- Biology /chemistry /computer science from a recognised Indian education board.
Domicile certificate is needed.
■Examination:-
•The Indian Navy will conduct examination for the above post at 31 different centres across the country.
•The written test result will be declared on the same day. The written exam will be for an hour and will have four sections -English, science, mathematics and general knowledge.
•There will be 100 questions of 100 marks and time is 1 hour .There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks
•A candidate after qualifying for the written exam will appear for the physical fitness test. In physical fitness test 1.6 km Run is needed which have to be completed in 7 minutes.
•He is required to do a minimum of 10 pushups and 20 squats .
•Those candidates who cleared the physical test will have to undertake the medical examination.
•The medical examination is conducted by the authorised military doctors.
•candidates who are rejected for being temporary unfit will have an option to go for a second review from a specified military Hospital within a maximum period of 21 days .
After that final merit list will be prepared
■Indian Navy SSR salary:-
During the initial training period a stipend of rupees 14,600 per month will be paid. on successful completion of initial training candidates will be placed in level 3 of the defence pay Matrix.
They will also be paid MSP Rs 5200 per month + DA + x group pay rupees 6200 per month plus DA.
